COURSE OVERVIEW

Prior to your in person course, you'll be given a PDF file of our over 120 page manual to be read through before the first day of training to help prepare you for your first day in training!

Day 1

Sanitation + Blood Borne Pathogens, PMU Theory, Needle Configurations/ Breakdown, Color Theory, Mapping, Nano Stroke + Pattern Fundamentals. Mandatory homework assignment.

Day 2

Ombre Fundamentals, Hair Stroke + Shape Practice, Business Tips + Tricks, + Instructor Live Demo Model. Mandatory homework assignment.

Day 3

Student works with a Live Model with Instructor oversight and receives Course Certification

LIVE MODEL

Every student gets the opportunity to practice hands on with the Instructor Demo Model on day 3 and their own live model on the last day of class. You can bring your own model or we can find one for you at an additional cost. Please let us know if you need us to find a model minimum 2 weeks before the first day of class.

I just completed my nano realism and ombré training, and I was absolutely blown away! Coming into the training, I was extremely nervous because a previous trainer told me she couldn’t teach me due to being left-handed. However, Bryce had zero issues training me! She explains everything thoroughly and in a way that’s easy to understand. The studio was clean, organized, and had a welcoming atmosphere. I traveled from Denver for this training, and it was well worth it! I cannot recommend Un-Stripped enough—100/10!

In October 2023, I had the pleasure of winning a sexual and domestic violence scholarship for this 4 day Permanent Makeup training from Bryce. At the time of winning, I had prior experience in the permanent makeup industry through other trainings, and I will say that Bryce far exceeded my expectations in every aspect. My passion was reignited, after several months of struggling to feel confident getting my start in the industry, and in finding my own lane. Bryce makes it a priority to educate you and let you learn without criticizing. She is very patient with her students, and any question you have will be answered thoroughly to ensure accurate understanding. She is truly a master of her skills. This opportunity not only answered all of my questions I had, but also propelled me into a greater passion in the industry of permanent makeup. I became obsessed with the artistry and the science behind PMU. It was so refreshing and inspiring to see another young woman business owner who has what I am aiming to get, with a unshakeable solidity in her purpose. On top of that, Bryce provided me with the opportunity to work in a salon as an independent business owner. Bryce is someone that I will continue to look up to as I grow in this industry, and winning her scholarship was by far one of my greatest blessings of 2023, and catapulted me into a direction I was having trouble getting into on my own. Course Policies + FAQ

Do I need a cosmo/esti license?

You do not need a license to do permanent makeup in California, however you will need to complete a Blood Borne Pathogens training prior to your course through abovetraining.com

Check with your local health department as well. They may require you to obtain a practitioners and a facilty permit in order to perform permanent makeup services.

Do I need prior experience?

No prior experience is needed to take this course! We will cover everything you need to know to get started. Just show up ready to learn!

What if I need to cancel?

There are no refunds after you've paid your deposit or the cost of the course. If you'd like to move your class to another date with availability, send us a request to academy@un-strippedlbb.com

If I place a deposit when is the full amount due, and how do I pay the deposit?

Depending on when you paid your deposit and the requested date of training, we will send you a notification 2 weeks prior to your first day of training about your balance due.

Afterpay wouldnt let me sign up, how do I still do a payment plan?

In some cases, Afterpay will not let you sign up for a large amount. You can try through Shopify payments, or PayPal. If none of those options work, contact us at academy@un-strippedlbb.com to set up an invoice payment plan.

If a payment is missed or the total balance is not paid in full by the requested date of training, we will need to reschedule until full payment is processed. There will be no refunds on educational services.

Prior to enrolling into the course please be absolutely sure you are able to enroll and take the course.

Can I start taking clients after I'm certified?

Yes! Once you've completed your course and have checked with your local health department about rules/regulations we recommend you start practicing and working on clients. Contact us for further questions so we can guide you as you start your career.
